'Milledgeville (Ga.) Union-Recorder' Names New Publisher

By: E&P Staff Debbie Williams has been named publisher of The Milledgeville (Ga.) Union-Recorder.

Williams, 45, has served as display sales director at The Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle since December 2003. She has held sales and marketing positions at the Athens (Ga.) Banner-Herald and The St. Augustine (Fla.) Record, and was an advertising director at the Enid (Okla.) News and Eagle and The Ada (Okla.) Evening News.

She succeeds Gregg Ratliff, who resigned in December.
