By: E&P Staff Gabriel Sherman of the New York Observer, who has chronicled the Judith Miller saga at The New York Times up-close, had a brief chat with the reporter two hours after her exit was announced by the paper.
"I'm tired," Miller said by phone to Sherman, adding, "I'm really very satisfied with the agreement. I will always miss the Times, but now it was time to move on. ... I plan to take a little time off, the time I was supposed to take before this 40-day nightmare began."
She said she was "delighted to see that he [Keller] clarified his remarks."
