?Milwaukee Journal Sentinel? Guild Members Ratify New Contract With No Raises

Members of the Milwaukee Newspaper Guild, representing about 120 newsroom employees at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, have ratified a new contract that includes no wage increases.

The new agreement, which runs through 2011, does contemplate restoring salaries to the level they were in 2009 when they were cut by 6.6%. The contract, first reported in the Business Journal of Milwaukee by Rich Kirchen, was approved by a vote of 54 to 10.
