By: E&P Staff Jamie Flaws has been appointed executive sales director of classified advertising at the Star Tribune in Minneapolis. She most recently led new-product development initiatives for the newspaper.
In her new capacity, Flaws will be responsible for employment advertising and will oversee the Star Tribune's call center.
"Jamie has has consistently demonstrated her strategic problem-solving ability, sales savvy and unwavering commitment to achieving results," Karen Larson, the Star Tribune's vice president of classified advertising, said in a statement.
Flaws joined the newspaper in 1996 and assisted in the product development, marketing, and sales launch of WorkAvenue (now JobsOnline) on StarTribune.com.
