Monday Poll in New Hampshire: Obama Maintains Big Lead, McCain Hangs On

Posted
By: E&P Staff A new batch of polls emerged early Monday, seemingly confirming what had emerged elsewhere over the weekend: Barack Obama now owns a double-digit lead in New Hampshire while John McCain is in a close fight but comes out ahead of Mitt Romney by a narrow margin.

The latest Zogby poll finds Obama with a 10 point lead over Hillary Clinton, and McCain with a 5 point bulge.

A new ARG poll has Obama up by 11 and Rasmussen pegs it at 12.

This is the same range as polls by CNN and others yesterday. But Rasmussen has McCain ahead by just 1 point.

UPDATE: A new CBS poll has Obama up 7% on Clinton in N.H., 35% to 28%, with Edwards still trailing at 19%.
