By: Dear Mr. Mitchell
The so-called "prostitutes" at Abu Ghraib were apparently handed over by Iraqi captors to U.S. forces when the former became bored with them. The "in-house" understanding was the psychriatric review of the evidence by Colonel Nelson.
To set a standard of proof that required photos to explain the entirely obvious was the Pentagon goal. The Washington Post were leaked "more" photos to deflect from the female aspects. Mr. Seymour Hersh essentially lost track of his own story.

Doug Clifton, editor of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, represents everything that is wrong about journalism today. First he decides to hold a pair of important stories because leaked documents might result in an official investigation. Then he decides, stupidly, to write a column about it. Then he gets scooped by an alt weekly on his own story. And finally, he does an interview with Editor & Publisher expressing regret for the column, for the fact that he told his readers anything at all.
I've worked with and for any number of "Doug Cliftons" over the past 29 years. Finally I decided to launch my own newspaper.

A yery big thank you (for the latest
Rove and
Gonzales articles). And stay with/on it. What did Bush know, when, who, how, where? Nixon deja vu.

Please, whatever it takes . . . expose the Bush regime's horrifying activities in Iraq! No nation should be allowed to commit such evil torture. The American people need to be shown what is being done in their name.
