By: E&P Staff Every month, "The Color of Money" columnist Michelle Singletary randomly selects readers to receive a book she recommends in her personal-finance feature.
This month, the Washington Post Writers Group-syndicated creator is doing something different.
In her latest column, Singletary gives readers her 13-year-old daughter Olivia's opinions about a book called "The Teen Girl's Gotta-Have-It Guide to Money." At the end of the piece, Singletary offers copies of the book to teen girls who submit a brief essay (200 words or less) on why it's important to save.
