Monster Extends Alliance With TV Sites

By: E&P Staff Monster.com has expanded its relationship with the nation's largest group of local TV Web sites. Under the new agreement, Monster will power co-branded sites for 120 of Internet Broadcasting's local TV sites, including those in the top 20 markets.

"Extending our media alliances -- nearly doubling the scope of our previous agreement -- will accelerate our localization strategy and help Monster cultivate deeper relationships with local job seekers and employers," Doug Klinger, president of Monster North America, said in a statement.

The co-branded sites will roll out over the course of the coming weeks and will provide career advice, tools such as a salary calculator, and access to Monster's resume database. Internet Broadcasting will provide Monster with co-branded TV advertising.

Markets in the relationship include WNBC.com in New York, NCB5.com in Chicago, and NBC4.tv in Los Angeles.
