Since the building that housed the weekly Phillips County News and other businesses in Malta, Mont., burned down Sept. 22, Publishers Curtis and Bonnie Starr have worked from their home using computers lent them by the Montana Press Association.

The Billings Gazette reported that the Starrs will lease a vacant building a few blocks from their old site, where they plan to rebuild.

The couple had fixed up and paid off the building that burned down last week. It included not only the newspaper they have owned for 25 years, but also their small business supplies store.
