By: E&P Staff K&M Newspaper Services of Monroe, N.Y., announced that the Montgomery (Ala.) Advertiser is the first buyer of the shaftless Titan G60 inserting system. The 58,429-circulation (48,389 weekdays) Gannett daily will install a 30-station G60 with dual gripper deliveries and a dual on-line system.
The inserter uses a Miracom control system and incorporates the same servo technology that K&M uses on its Titan G3. Unlike the G3, however, the G60 can be expanded from eight hoppers to as many as 62, in four-hopper increments.

(remanufactured 1472 and K-Track press conveyor); the Athens (Ga.) Ledger-Enquirer (one remanufactured 1372 each); The Herald News in Fall River, Mass.
