Greenberg has been editor of The Avalanche-Journal since 2006. He began his career at two newspapers before becoming editor of the Redlands Daily Facts. “I am pleased that Terry is ready to make the leap to vice president of audience. His experience in news, opinion, and content generation—both print and digital—make him a great pick for our audience leader,” said Stephen Beasley, publisher of The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal and AJ Media.
“The vice presidents of audience are being asked to help create the future for our company,” said Greenberg. “So much has changed in how we deliver information to our audience and I find it fascinating. I look forward to the challenge.”
“Terry has done an outstanding job as editor of The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal,” said Derek May, executive vice president of Morris Publishing Group. “His experience in journalism, print and digital media make him ideal for this new role.”
Greenberg was named outstanding alumni for Cal State Northridge’s Journalism department, has been a seven-time discussion leader with the American Press Institute and has taught many college classes on journalism and media issues.
