By: E&P Staff Rupert Murdoch has called a meeting of 50 top News Corp. new media executives in California next month -- including delegations from Britain and Australia -- to discuss the company's Internet projects and map out its digital future, according to an article in the Guardian.

The company, which owns the thriving social networking site MySpace, had similar conventions over the past two years. At last year's meeting, executives heard speeches from Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tony Blair and Al Gore.
