NAA Announces 'Digital Edge' Winners

By: E&P Staff The Newspaper Association of America announced its 2008 Digital Awards winners today at its Marketing Conference in Orlando, Fla., from among 200 entries.

It also named its Online Innovator Award: Dan Shorter for his work at PalmBeachPost.com. Shorter has taken a new post at the Star Tribune in Minneapolis.

Winners of the award for Best Overall Newspaper Web Sites were:

LJWorld.com, The Lawrence Journal-World/The World Co. (circ. under 75,000)

Knoxnews.com, Knoxville News Sentinel (circ. 75,000 ? 250,000)

PolitiFact.com, St. Petersburg Times and Congressional Quarterly (circ. over 250,000)
