By: E&P Staff Nancy A. Meyer has been named Vice President of Advertising at The Hartford Courant.
In her new post, Meyer will lead all advertising revenue efforts for the paper and as well as for ValuMail, a Courant subsidiary. She will report to Hartford Courant President, Publisher and Chief Executive Officer Jack Davis.
Meyer comes to The Courant from the San Francisco Chronicle, where she spent the last two years as Director of Classified Advertising. She has nearly 20 years of advertising experience, and previously worked seven years at the Albany Times Union in the capacities of Classified Ad Manager and then Display Ad Manager, responsible for both retail and national. She is originally from New Jersey.
Meyer is scheduled to join The Courant on Monday, May 22.
