Naples Daily News Appoints New Editor

Manny Garcia, an award-winning investigative reporter and executive editor of the Miami-based Spanish-language newspaper El Nuevo Herald, has been named editor of the Naples Daily News.

Garcia, 53, replaces Phil Lewis, who retired in July after 16 years at the newspaper’s helm. Garcia will join the Daily News on Oct. 21.
