Nela-NewsTech Agreement for Latin America

By: E&P Staff Nela, Oakdale, Minn., and NewsTech yesterday announced general agreement on marketing cooperation.

NewsTech is adding register controls and plate-automation supplier Nela to its representation of companies in Latin America. The non-exclusive agreement defines the countries where NewsTech will support Nela and its products. NewsTech will support Nela in its sales and after-sale technical service.

"Admittedly, NewsTech is late to the CTP dance, but we see tremendous synergies and a lot of business opportunities for those manufacturers that can offer us good products and solid support," NewsTech Vice President Diego Rovito said in a statement.

Miami-based NewsTech was founded in 1979 to provide the latest technology, production materials and complete export services to printers in Latin America and the Caribbean.
