New Ad Director at 'Desert Sun'

By: E&P Staff The Desert Sun in Palm Springs, Calif., promoted Dominique Shwe, 38, to advertising director.

Most recently she was advertising manager at the paper. Shwe steps in for Michelle Krans, who was named publisher of the Desert Sun.

In her new role, Shwe will oversee retail and classified advertising.

Schwe started with the Desert Sun in 1990 assisting sales representatives. She has worked her way up in the advertising department in a variety of roles including national sales manager and retail sales manager.
