By: E&P Staff This week, The New York Times partnered with New York's Metropolitan Transit Authority in its latest "Subtalk." The marketing campaign features 2,200 banners, which will appear in subway cars, and plucks real stories and experiences from the Times' column Metropolitan Diary.
"We are very excited that the M.T.A. has invited us to share some of the true-life anecdotes from Metropolitan Diary with the city's subway riders," said Alyse Myers, vice president, marketing services of the Times, in a statement. "We expect that the subway experiences recorded in Metropolitan Dairy will elicit smiles -- just as the popular feature in the paper brightens our readers' lives every Monday."
The column is a collection of stories about life in New York.
