By: E&P Staff Jack Lintol will take over as CEO of PowerOne Media LLC, the largest online newspaper network in the United States, hosting more than 1,000 newspaper Web sites.
"Jack Lintol brings leadership, experience, and a proven record of success to our organization," J. Markham Green, PowerOne's chairman, said in a statement.
Lintol replaces Lorren Elkins, who left to be closer to his family, according to a PowerOne statement. Lintol previously served as COO of StoneAge, where he helped improve the business. He has also served as CFO of Nagel Precision., Inc., and in several executive positions at Credit Acceptance Corporation.
"We are fortunate to bring in someone with Jack's skills and experience to guide the company through the next stage in expansion and opportunity. Lorren Elkins contributed greatly to our recent accomplishments, and we wish him the best of success," Green said.
"PowerOne Media is a market leader," Lintol said. "But I see tremendous potential to grow."
