By: E&P Staff The Boston Business Journal, owned by American City Business Journals, unveiled a redesign Friday, its first since 1997.
"A major goal of the redesign was to deliver the news that matters in a format that's useful and easy to navigate for local business executives who have many demands on their time," said Publisher Michael G. Olivieri, in a statement.
New elements of the revamped weekly paper include:
* New front page teasers to highlight inside content.
* A Newsmaker index on Page 2, which includes companies and business leaders mentioned in stories throughout the issue.
* A larger typeface, and people and company names now in bold.
* A new People section.
* Hire Boston, a look at upper-level job openings.
* Executive Domain, a look at properties and trends driving the high-end residential real estate market.
* On the Road, a bimonthly car review for executives.
Based in Charlotte, N.C., American City Business Journals is a division of Advance Publications Inc.
