New Exec. Editor for 'San Mateo County (Calif.) Times'

By: E&P Staff Glenn Rabinowitz has been appointed executive editor of the San Mateo County (Calif.) Times.

Rabinowitz, 43, most recently served as chief of copy desks for the San Jose Mercury News. He has worked in newsrooms since age 13 and has held almost every position, from editorial jobs to page designer. He served as managing editor of the San Bernardino County Sun from October 2000 to July 2005.

He replaces former editor John Bowman, who left the paper in May.
