By: E&P Staff A new paper made its debut in Florida this month with the launch of the Fort Myers Florida Weekly.
The four-color tabloid covers news, entertainment, dining, business, and real estate in Fort Myers. It?s distributed every Thursday to 15,000 subscribers who pay $29.95 for 52 issues.
?The outstanding response to our Fort Myers Weekly concept has us very excited,? Pason Gaddis, publisher of the weekly, said in a statement. ?With distribution commitments from more than 250 finer Fort Myers retailers, and over 60 charter advertisers contracted for our fist issue, this tells us that there?s a strong consensus for a new, alternative voice in Fort Myers print media.?
Gaddis was most recently the manager of sales at the News-Press in Fort Myers. Former News-Press investigative reporter Jeff Cull is the weekly?s executive editor.
Fort Myers Florida Weekly launched April 5.
