New York, NY, October 12 -  Beginning last month, MSNBC’s popular news program Morning Joe has featured ‘PARADE of Papers’, a segment highlighting top headlines from the front pages of a number of PARADE magazine's 610+ newspaper partners, providing viewers an on-the-ground look at the issues affecting communities across America.

Each Friday, Morning Joe promotes the coming weekend's issue of PARADE, the mostly widely read magazine in America.  As of October 9, Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski became monthly contributors to PARADE’s ‘Views’ section, giving them an opportunity to discuss aspects of American life that reach beyond the beltway.  Their first column complements the cover story “Born to Be Wired,” a special report on raising kids in the Internet age.

“This is a terrific partnership for everyone involved,” says Parade editorial director Maggie Murphy. “Through the ‘PARADE of Papers’ segment, Morning Joe’s smart, engaged viewership will get a chance to see exactly how today’s political, social and economic issues are covered by local newspapers in towns and cities across America. And having Joe and Mika join our rotating group of columnists (which also includes Pulitzer-prize winner Connie Schultz and political analyst David Gergen) broadens the diversity of opinion and adds to the lively conversation we have with over 67 million readers of Parade each week.”
