The Corry (Pennsylvania) Journal, along with its six sister publications, recently welcomed their new publisher, Marka Sonoga, who hit the ground running on Monday, April 1.
Sonoga has been in the newspaper business since 1999, when she began her career at The Vindicator in Youngstown, Ohio. Besides her 14 years of experience at the Vindicator, she has served in various positions for other publications in the state of Indiana as well as El Dorado, Arkansas, and La Grange, Georgia.
Prior to joining Sample News Group, Sonoga served as publisher and advertising director for Adams Publishing Group, which publishes eight local newspapers in southeast Ohio.
