New Roles for Editors of Vermont Newspapers

The Brattleboro (Vt.) Reformer is promoting its top newsroom leader and has selected an experienced editor to lead the news department.

Tom D'Errico, who has served as the Brattleboro Reformer's executive editor for almost eight years, becomes the content marketing manager for New England Newspapers Inc., a newly created position within the company.

Michelle Karas, the managing editor of the Bennington Banner since 2013, has been appointed managing editor of the Reformer. In this role, Karas will oversee the news-gathering operations in Bennington and Brattleboro.
