By: E&P Staff A new book released Sept. 15 compiles some of the most beloved comics from the classic "Rose is Rose" comic strip, syndicated by United Media.
"Peekaboo Planet: A Collection of Rose is Rose Comics" (Andrews McMeel) is the latest collection of this 25-year-old, five-time nominee for Best Newspaper Comic Strip.
Cartoonist Pat Brady began drawing "Rose is Rose" full time in 1984, with Don Wimmer joining in 2004, and this latest installment of their full-color comic strip features the Gumbo family and their cat Peekaboo engaging in their own variety of ordinary-yet-extraordinary adventures.
The book, which retails for $12.99, is available at all major book outlets.
