By: Staff Reports Lalli Was In Post For Less Than 3 Months
Frank Lalli, the new Sunday editor of New York's Daily
News resigned abruptly Wednesday, according to a report on
The New York Times Web site.
Lalli, who was editor of George magazine when it was
closed earlier this year, had joined the Daily News less
than three months ago.
He told the Times that he is more of "a magazine person"
than a newspaper person. Lalli said he would now develop his idea
for a new magazine.
The Times said Lalli may have clashed with other senior
editors at the newspaper over his "outspoken" style.
