'New York Post' gets Bookish

By: E&P Staff This week, the New York Post kicked off a book giveaway targeting students with such classics like "Gulliver's Travels" and "Alice in Wonderland."

For the next 14 weeks, the Post will hand out 500,000 hardback copies of 15 different titles. "We worked very hared to select books that deserve the designation 'Family Classic,' and we believe we have come up with a collection that will truly be beloved by the entire family, and handed down from generation to generation," Col Allan, editor-in-chief of the Post, said in a statement.

Home subscribers in the tri-state area get one free copy. Coupons are available at newsstands for redemption of a title.
