New York Sun, scheduled to appear on newsstands April 16th, has secured distribution with two of its competitors, The New York Times Co. and Tribune-owned
Newsday.
Single-copy delivery of the new broadsheet, to be handled by City & Suburban, a subsidiary of the Times Co., and Tribune Co.'s DSA Direct and
Newsday, will reach more than 4,000 newsstands in New York City's five boroughs.
Newsday's distribution services and Mitchell's Newspaper Delivery Service will share in the home and office delivery of the
Sun.
The newspaper will publish five days a week with an initial print run of 60,000. The single-copy price is 50 cents while home delivery will be $2.50 per week.
The
