New York Times Appoints Four "Digital Deputies"

The New York Times appointed four staffers to serve as "digital deputies" Monday, assigned to strengthen the paper's digital arm and improve efforts across platforms.

In early July, Times executive editor Dean Baquet announced that each desk would be assigned a deputy-level editor "whose responsibility will be to ensure our coverage shines everywhere we publish."
