New York Times Tallies its Newsroom Restock

Back in November, New York Times managing editor Dean Baquet played it cool amid a flurry of reports tallying all the high-profile bylines that the paper had been bleeding as of late: Nate Silver, David Pogue, Brian Stelter, Matt Bai, etc.
 
"I really don’t think there’s a broader issue at play here," he told The Daily Beast's Lloyd Grove at the time.
