Newbury Weekly Adds Tolerans Inline Stitching

By: E&P Staff Newbury Weekly News Printers in southern England bought a shaftless inline stitcher made by Sweden's Tolerans AB. The stitcher will operate linked to the 2:3:3 folder on a new Goss Universal 70 two-around singlewide press expected to arrive this month.

WRH Marketing UK represents Tolerans in the United Kingdom.

The Speedliner can operate at up to 120,000 copies per hour, handle from eight to 144 pages of 40-gram paper stock, and apply two to six staples per product, according to Tolerans.

Besides the 25,000-circulation Newbury Weekly News, the company prints a local shopper and commercial work.
