By: E&P Staff Tribune Company, which went from a publicly traded corporation to a private one in December, will release financial results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2007 by the middle of next month, the Chicago-based newspaper publisher and broadcaster said Monday.
The 10-K for Tribune's final reporting periods as a public company is due March 31, but the company said it expects to file with the Securities and Exchange Commission by mid-March.
Tribune added that in April, new Chairman Sam Zell, who engineered the $8.2 billion going-private deal, and other senior management executives will conduct a conference call to discuss the results and "provide an update on 2008."
Details of the conference call will be released simultaneously with the filing of the 10K, Tribune said.
