By: E&P Staff Ann Boggs Wilson has been promoted to vice president and CFO of the Daily Press in Newport News, Va. In her new role, she will be responsible for financial, planning, and accounting functions for the paper and its subsidiary operations.
"We are fortunate to have Ann on board in this key position as we transform our company to succeed in the 21st century," Digby Solomon, president and publisher of Daily Press, said in a statement.
Wilson joined the paper in 1987 as an accounting manager and has since held several positions within the company?s finance and operations departments.
