NewsMedia Corp. Buys Two Weeklies in Pinedale, Wyo.

By: E&P Staff Rochelle, Ill.-based NewsMedia Corp. has purchased two weeklies in Pinedale, Wyo., the newspaper brokerage firm Media Consultants Inc. announced.

NewsMedia bought the Pinedale Roundup, a 4,000-circulation weekly established in 1904, in a transaction in which Mike Lindsey of Media Consultants represented the seller, Robert Shaul.

Lindsey represented NewsMedia in the purchase of the Sublette County Examiner, a 2,500-circulation weekly.

Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

NewsMedia publishes 48 dailies and community papers in nine states.
