By: Dexter Hill In a time of staff cuts and newspaper shut-downs, one Indiana paper is turning its printing presses back on. The owner of the Noblesville Daily Times has announced that the paper plans to resume publishing.
Indiana-based Schurz Communications pulled the plug on the Times back in August, laying off 24 full-time employees. Since then, The Paper of Montgomery County has purchased the Times and the group of 12 owners have rehired former reporter Rebecca Sandlin and promoted her to managing editor.
No word yet on when the first issue will hit newsstands.
