By: E&P Staff North Jersey Media Group in Hackensack, N.J., now offers what it calls "the most up-to-date residential, commercial, and other real estate sales information" for free on its www.northjerseyresales.com site.
The information covers transactions in Bergen and Passaic counties, for which the group publishes The Record and Herald-News, respectively. Most properties' sale prices are posted three to four weeks after closing. The site also includes sales history since 1994 and property tax information since 2002.
Beyond the Record and www.northjersey.com as valued real estate resources, "we identified an additional opportunity to help local buyers and sellers become even savvier in today's marketplace," Mike Ciullo, the group's interactive media vice president, said in a statement.
This new tool acquires data from many sources and is an alternative to sites that take longer to gather and make the information available, according to North Jersey Media.
