By: E&P Staff London's Evening Standard has reached a content-sharing agreement with New York's Daily News for their print editions and Web sites, according to a report in The Guardian, another British national daily.

Daily News Editor in Chief and Deputy Publisher Martin Dunn and a spokeswoman did not reply to telephone and e-mail messages.

The Guardian reported that the Standard, 75% owned by Russian Alexander Lebedev, offered no details of the amount or type of content or the terms of the deal.

The Standard has a similar arrangement with Russia's Novaya Gazeta, in which Lebedev has a 39% stake and Mikhail Gorbachev controls 10%.
