NY Times Co. to Order Goss Additions

Posted
By: Jim Rosenberg The New York Times Co. signed a letter of intent earlier this week at Nexpo with Goss International for three towers and 36 couples, which will be used to expand color capacity at four production plants for three newspapers already printed by Goss presses.

The New York Times is to install a total of 33 printing couples on the Colorliner presses at its Edison, N.J., and College Point (New York City) plants. A Colorliner tower and three couples will be added to the Lakeland (Fla.) Ledger's press. The Boston Globe will receive two Global Newsliner tower additions.
