The New York Times Magazine announced five new features. They are:
* "Portfolio," a photography spread that will feature photojournalism, portraiture, and landscape images. It debuts Sept. 22.
* "Diagnosis," which will look into real-life medical puzzles. It starts Sept. 8.
* "Page Turner," which will introduce readers to young talent in movies, TV, books, art, music, and theater. It begins Sept. 15.
* "Crash Course," which will offer the thoughts of leading academics on hot subjects in the news. It launches Sept. 22.
* "Domains," which will show how well-known people live their private lives. It's coming next year.
These features will only appear in the magazine and not be distributed via the New York Times Syndicate or New York Times News Service, according to a Times Co. spokesperson.
