By: E&P Staff The New York Times on Monday announced that Marc Kramer has been named senior vice president/circulation and that Thomas Lombardo has been elevated to vice president/production.
Kramer formerly was senior vice president/production; Lombardo was executive director of production and plant manager at the paper's Flushing, N.Y., facility.
Kramer will continue to oversee production and labor relations, which he has been responsible for since 1999. He will report to Scott Heekin-Canedy, president and general manager of the newspaper.
Lombardo, who will report to Kramer, was named executive director of production in 1999. He assumed his position as plant manager of the Times' printing and distribution facility in Flushing in 1996.
