'NY Times' Redesigning Education Life Section

By: E&P Staff The New York Times is redesigning the print and online editions of its Education Life section to include an increased focus on higher education coverage. The redesign is scheduled to debut Sunday, Nov. 6.

New features in the section will contain information on personal finance issues, college campus lifestyles, U.S. college statistics and more

Education Life is published quarterly as a stand-alone news section in the Sunday edition of the paper.

In other recent New York Times developments, the paper announced on Monday the launch of a new movie magazine, titled OnMovies that will be published 18 times a year and distributed through national movie theater chains. OnMovies is scheduled to debut Dec. 16.
