By: E&P Staff The New York Times has added 1,1000 Bay Area subscribers since its launch last fall of locally produced San Francisco content, the San Francisco Business Times reported Friday.
Quoting senior Times executive Jim Schachter, the publication said single-copy sales of the paper are up since the introduction of the pages, which are edited by Felicity Barringer.
Before the October launch of the San Francisco edition, the Times had 40,080 Bay Area daily subscribers and 57,514 on Sundays.
