The New York Times has joined the affiliate marketing
program run by Commission
Junction of Santa Barbara, Calif. The Times will run
ads for home delivery subscriptions on Commission Junction's
network of Web sites. Participating sites will receive
commissions for new subscriptions generated.

Commission Junction said it will use its own tracking and
reporting technology to provide real-time reports of the
campaign's progress. The company will also handle related
transactions on behalf of the Times.

The Commission Junction network includes more than 1,500
advertisers and 400,000 Web site publishers. Publishers receive
commissions for any sales that result from Commission Junction
campaigns.
