NYC Free Commuter Daily 'Metro New York' Expands to Queens

Posted
By: E&P Staff Metro New York, the free community daily, is launching a weekly Queens edition.

Metro will distribute 40,000 copies every Thursday throughout the borough.

The edition will be a way for advertisers to target residents and tourists in Queens, Metro said.

"Advertisers want to target their local market in the most efficient way," Ed Abrams, Metro New York executive sales director, said in a statement. "This Queen's zoned edition is a chance to get([the advertiser's) sales message in front of your most-likely customers: those who live or work near your business."

Metro's Queens zoned edition will be distributed every Thursday at high-traffic commuter neighborhoods including Forest Hills, Elmhurst, Astoria, Long Island City, Kew Gardens, Briarwood, Woodhaven, Jackson Heights, Woodside, Ravenwood, and Fresh Meadows.
