NYT Co. Names VP/Tech and Strategic Planning

By: E&P Staff The New York Times Co. has appointed Kate Taylor to the newly created position of vice president, strategic planning and technology. In her new role, which is effective immediately, Taylor will oversee the technology operating strategy across the entire company.

She reports in to Senior Vice President/CIO Joseph Seibert.

Previously, Taylor worked as consultant to companies including Time Warner, Viacom and News Corp. She served as director in the strategy practice for Archstone Consulting.

Taylor also held positions at Accenture and SGA.
