'NYT' Launches Ads for Co-branded Monster Job Site

By: E&P Staff The New York Times is gearing up for the launch of its co-branded job site with Monster.com on June 11 with a marketing campaign that will extend throughout the year.

Today, the paper ran its first teaser ad in the front section with a quote from author Donald Westlake, "Everybody in New York is looking for something. Once in a while somebody finds it." The copy continues: "On June 11, you'll find what you're looking for."

New York Times Spokeswoman Catherine Mathis would not disclose how much the company is spending on the campaign running in print and online.
