'NYT' Launches 'TV Decoder' Blog With Former 'TV Newser' Creator

By: E&P Staff NYTimes.com introduced today a new blog today called TV Decoder that covers the television industry -- a much-awaited offering led by famed "TVNewser" blogger Brian Stelter.

TV Decoder, the Times says, covers the day's on-screen and behind-the-scenes developments, with insights into Nielsen ratings and the machinations of the TV industry. Brian Stelter is now a media reporter for the paper.

The young Stelter created the TVNewser blog in 2004, which became a must-read among television network presidents, media executives, producers and publicists.
