By: E&P Staff The New York Times will run its first ever "cover wrap" around its Sunday magazine this week. The Aug. 10 edition will feature the ad from U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, boosting the bank's philanthropic solutions for individuals and families.
"This ad buy illustrates how we continue to work closely with our clients to create unique executions and customized opportunities to meet their business objectives," Denise Warren, senior vice president and chief advertising officer at the New York Times, said in a statement.
The cost of the ad was not disclosed. It overlays less than one-third of the front cover, and almost half of the back cover.
"We are thrilled to work with the New York Times Magazine on this effort as we seek to further raise awareness," Claire Huang, head of marketing for Global Wealth & Investment Management at Bank of America, in a statement.
The Times has rolled out many different ad formats over the last 18 months including section front ads, spadias, and single-sponsored magazines.
