By: E&P Staff The New York Times Syndicate announced today that it will distribute the weekly Slate.com opinion column by Christopher Hitchens.
"Fighting Words" is a 1,000-1,200-word feature that discusses topics such as Islamic fundamentalism and the Iraq War. Hitchens has been a strong supporter of the U.S.-led invasion and occupation of Iraq.
The award-winning Hitchens also writes for Vanity Fair magazine, and has done work for The New York Times Book Review, The Atlantic, Harper's, Newsweek International, and other publications.
He's also the author of more than a dozen books, including the recently published "God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything."
